Big Bag Compacter for the Compaction of Bulk Material during or after the Filling Process

For the compaction of bulk material

For the compaction of bulk material such as plastic granulate, tobacco or similar during or after the filling process.

This vibrating frame was designed for the compaction of bulk material / granulate such as plastic granulate or plastic reclaim after a cutting mill or an extruder process. Also different kinds of dust and recycling material can be compacted with the frame. The vibrated frame can be set up as a separate unit. The vibration frequency can be infinitely variable adjusted by potentiometer on the power supply.

The connection to an existing power supply or the implementation to a control with program selection is also possible. The weighing of the Big Bag’s during the filling process with the print out of an weight protocol can be optionally realized. By using the vibrating frame the cone from pouring the material can be reduced. Furthermore e.g. Octabins or stapled bags in a frame can be compacted with the vibrating frame.

Vibrating frame for the compaction of bulk material in a cardboard box

Vibrating table for the transportation of plastic granulate within a cardboard box. The transportation effect achieved by the correct vibration technique will transport the granulate in one corner of the cardboard box to assure a continuous supply of granulate for the production machine.

FAQs

Knauer Big Bag Vibrating Frames – Efficiently compacting bulk materials

Knauer’s Big Bag vibration frame compacts bulk material in Big Bags (FIBCs) using controlled vibration – for better use of space, higher packing density and lower transport costs. Versatile in use, easy to integrate and, on request, can be fitted with advanced control technology.

What is a Big Bag vibrating frame used for?

A Big Bag vibrating frame is used for the targeted compaction of bulk materials in Big Bags (FIBCs). It is used during or after the filling process – for example, with bulk materials, powders, recycled materials or other materials that can be compacted. The result: better use of space and greater stability of the filled containers.

How does the Big Bag vibrating frame work?

The vibrating frame generates controlled vibrations that evenly compact the bulk material inside the bag. The frequency is either fixed or continuously adjustable, and can also be operated at timed intervals. Connection to existing power supplies or control systems is straightforward.

What are the benefits of using a vibrating frame for big bags?

The use of a Big Bag vibrating frame offers several tangible benefits: by reducing the bulk cone, thestability and filling behaviour of the bags are significantly improved. A higher packing density reduces the transport volume – and thus transportcosts. The flexible setup as a self-contained unit also makes processintegration considerably easier.

Can other containers also be compressed, or can their functions be expanded?

Yes – the Knauer vibrating frame is not limited to Big Bags. It is equally suitable for Oktabins and other containers of various sizes. It can be used with all types of bulk materials – from granules and blanks to C-parts – as well as with process waste such as dust or wet and dry production waste. Additional functions such as weight monitoring and automatic logging can be integrated on request.
